The birth of a blog

I can’t remember exactly how it happened.

All I know is that I somehow ended up finding the ‘Adelle’ WordPress template design, and it was decided then and there: a new blog would be born. Except “I” wouldn’t really ‘birth’ it since it’s already been ‘birthed’ and all… right.

I love mermaids. I came into the world speaking French (unless I had other linguistic abilities my parents chose to keep secret from me), hence the title Sirène de la mer. Easy, really. It’s even more logical in light of the fact that it’s a direct translation of Oceanlab’s amazing song “Sirens of the Sea,” which just happens to be a song I love and was listening to before creating the blog. That, and, I was a mermaid in another life.
